I recommend the software that I and my students use called Starry Night. It is an exciting piece of software which comes in three versions and makes learning about the night sky fun.

Starry Night Software will provide you with information and pictures (taken by the Hubble Telescope) on any object in the night sky. This will:

• Provide you with info on objects you are viewing through your telescope.
• Help plan your night’s viewing by giving you the exact position of an object at any given time.
• Teach you where and how to find objects.
• Gives you 3 different pollution settings so you will know exactly what you can and can’t see from your area.

This software is great for all ages, and highly recommended for children. It is simple to use and will help you find your way around the night sky with that new Orion telescope. I highly recommend it.
